Premium F&B photography at Sheraton Grand Salzburg
Capturing food at a premium standard requires precision. We needed to balance the artistry of the dishes with dynamic, human-led elements—like a perfectly timed dessert sauce pour and steak carving—while maintaining a polished aesthetic suitable for Marriott’s brand standards. Timing, consistency, and coordination between the chef, marketing team, and camera were critical.
We worked closely with Sheraton’s Head of Marketing, Vera Mishina, her team, and the hotel’s head chef using a tethered iPad Pro setup for live review. This allowed instant feedback on plating, angles, and movement, ensuring each shot met the hotel’s expectations. Multiple takes of pours and plating refinements ensured we achieved images that felt authentic yet refined—exactly what premium hotel dining imagery demands.
A curated set of high-quality F&B images showcasing the new menu, including hero shots with dynamic action elements such as the dessert pour and steak carving, paired with refined plated compositions.
These images will be used across Sheraton Grand Salzburg’s website, digital dining menus, and marketing channels, reinforcing the hotel’s elevated culinary positioning as part of its overall guest experience. They will also support Marriott’s DAC standards for visual consistency across premium brand properties.
Food photography at this level comes down to teamwork and attention to detail. Working alongside the chef and marketing team, we refined each shot as we went, whether it was adjusting the angle of a plate or getting the timing right for a sauce pour. It’s those small, collaborative moments that make the images feel real and connected to the experience guests will have in the restaurant.
