Hollywood Stars in the desert
One to remember As a hotel photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing the essence of numerous motels, hotels, and resorts around the world. However, there was one hotel I shot last year that has stuck in mind like no other – the River Rock Inn in Green River, Utah. Let me take you on a journey through this charming establishment that Tracy and Greg, the owners, transformed into a true gem. Where in the World……… Nestled in the heart of Green River, a small town with a population of just under 1,000 residents, River Rock Inn stands as a testament to the adventurous spirit that runs through this quaint corner of Utah. The town itself has a rich history, dating back to its establishment as a supply center for the mining industry in the late 1800s. International Travel during the Pandemic
As a self employed International Hotel Photographer. My clients are in different countries, so I do a lot of international travel. On March 11th I was working in the USA on a job when then President, Donald Trump announced he was banning international travel and specifically at that time, Europeans entering the United States. Just like everybody else there were so many emotions and worries that came to mind. Fast forward to today (10 months later) and I am preparing to leave on only my fifth work trip since March 2020 and here we are staring at a potential third wave of Corona virus. But this time I feel a bit different about it and I’ll explain why. Why I travel […]
Amazing photography of Salzburg during corona virus days
The corona virus lockdown has changed the World and also created an amazing photography experience At the time of writing this blog I am in day 11 of social distancing rules in Austria. Most of the World is operating under new social distancing rules. These rules have left the streets quieter in order to stop the spread of the Covid 19 virus and also created an amazing photography experience. Under normal circumstances I photograph hotels for a living. My work started drying up a couple of weeks ago as the uncertainty started to kick-in. I can’t work from home as I photograph hotels on location and I usually travel extensively. So with that stark reality hitting home, like millions of other people I can’t worry about the future 24 hours per day. So between the worry of where and when my next job and income may come from I thought […]
