Why should I use a professional hotel photographer?
Many times in recent years I've seen the results of an eager employee, or a friend of the owner who just got a digital DSLR and is keen to save the company money and to help out. Although those intentions are good, the end results usually are not good enough. Even though the camera may be okay and have a high megapixel number, it's not enough.
Professional Equipment
Professional camera's and lenses cost thousands of dollars. Sometimes a lens can cost more than a camera body. That's because it's top quality and there is a huge difference. Where anamateur falls short is the lighting, or lack of it. When we go into a hotel room we use up to five lights to give a bright, even but subtle light to the room.
Experience
On a personal note, I come from a travel industry background which started 24 years ago when I was 19. I have been working with hotels a long time and involved in selling the benefits of vacations and hotels throughout that time. I look from a photographical point of view at what would be the best angle and lighting to sell the hotel room, the hotel or any of its facilities. Basically I create images to make the viewer want to experience the product. |

What products do I need to sell my hotel, condo or restaurant?
Visual images are wht sell your product. I'm sure you've heard the phrase "a picture is worth a thousand words"? Well that can be brought up to date now and put into a business perspective. To a hotel a picture is worth "thousands of dollars" even millions in some cases, depending on how many rooms you have.
High Resolution Digital Stills
Basically, photographs. Photographs taken by a professional using professional lighting and equipment and edited on professional computers to produce a final product for print in brochures and optimized to look good on the web and twitter.
VR360's (Virtual Tours)
High quality VR360's taken using the right equipment and lighting. There is still a huge call for VR360's for hotels. It creates a trust factor for guests showing you have nothing to hide as well as giving them a better feel of what the property is like.
HD Video
With the internet growing faster than ever people want more. HD video for web is now getting really popular and we have a product especially for that with 60 second video's with ambient music to create an enticing mood.
